Atrium Building - Innovation Place
The atrium building addition was designed as a "good manufacturing practice" facility with some space allowed for offices. Two large air handling units in the basement provide heated and cooled outside air to the space. Perimeter heat is provided by ceiling mounted hot water radiant panels. Tube in shell heat exchangers convert the medium temperature water from the park's central heating system to hot water at a temperature suitable for the perimeter heat. Laboratories are exhausted by Tri-Stack exhaust fans located on the roof. The building is fully protected by an automatic fire protection system.
